Cut Filter
How can i overlay two videos over each other in premiere or Final Cut? (i dont mean keying)?
Its to try to make a 3d video clip using one camera has Red Filter and the other blue.. But these videos have to be mixed in editing.. using which plugin?
changing the opacity of top video trackl wont make a real mixture of the videos. itll just make one 50% less visible. I want 100% visibility of both videos.. complete and clear mixture..
OK.....I would try laying down a white matte first...then overlaying the two tracks on top of that and setting the opacity of the two colour tracks to 50%. That should give you the right balance...rather than just 50% of one colour. I'm not an expert with the exacting process of 3d in that respect so I can't give you any more help.
In Premiere you can find the shortcut to a colour matte at the bottom of the project bin where you create new items...create new colour matte and select white. Your default sequence settings should have 3 tracks so you will have room..if not add more tracks.

The Imaging Source 1280 x 960 FireWire Color Astro Telescope Camera without IR Cut Filter With its 1280 x 960 pixel, the telescope camera DBK 41AF02.AS offers a very high resolution. It outputs uncompressed image data at a speed of 15 images per second. Using the shipped software - IC Capture.AS - you can capture lossless and uncompressed images sequences as AVI files. The CCD camera DBK 41AF02.AS outputs high resolution, uncompressed images at a high frame rate. These image sequences generate a large amount of data. In order to transfer these to the host PC, a very fast bus is required. Hence, the camera is fitted with a FireWire connector. Color CCDs output their data in RAW format. For visualization purposes this data cannot be used. It must first be subjected to a color interpolation process, in which the raw data is post processed. Much broader bandwidth is required to transfer interpolated images, than the original raw data from the camera. Color interpolation can be switched off in the CCD camera DBK 41AF02.AS.
