Best 35 MM Camera to buy? My Minolta conked out!?
Do not want a digital, husband has one...want very easy instamatic like my old one. What is the better brand? Anybody know anything about Pentax?
I bought my parents 3 35mm cameras in the past 15 years. The first was a vivitar zoom. I has a zoom lever, a shutter button, and on/off switch. Very simple and my father still uses it when he goes fishing. They also have a pentax and a canon with date back. But they love the vivitar. Any major brand of 35mm will give you great pictures. When you look for a camera, check their return policy. Take if for a trial use, shoot a roll and see if it is up to your standards. If not take it back. You can get really good quality ones that have been refurbished for very low price, but usually these are through catalogs or websites. You can always buy from ebay or this site:
