What are the coolest Homemade Photography Gadgets?
I've looked all over the web for innovative and unique DIY photography hacks and gadgets, but nothing pops out. Most of the projects are light boxes, flash diffusers, homemade stands, etc.
I was hoping somebody knows of an awesome (maybe even easy) DIY photography gadget project I could do. Maybe homemade filters?

with digital most the manipulation is done after in photoshop. Then manipulation through light. Different lighting can create some cool effects, as far as filters you need some thin glass and experiment putting different things on the glass like gels, liquids, ect of different colors and consistencies.

Hoya 62mm Circular Polarizing Pro 1 Digital Multi-Coated Glass Filter Light rays which are reflected by any surface can become polarised so polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. CIRCULAR PL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. HOYA's polarizing filters do not affect the overall color balance of a shot. Using the CIRCULAR PL filter, reflections and glare can be reduced significantly from non-metallic surfaces. A camera angle of 30 degrees from the reflecting surface (glass, water, etc.) is ideal for maximum effect. |
